Academic Integrity Policy in the E-Learning Environment

Integrity is a fundamental pillar in all interactions within the Skills Gate platform. All parties, including instructors, trainees, and administrative staff, are committed to honesty and ethical conduct in all matters related to the training and educational process.

This policy aims to maintain a fair, transparent, and trustworthy learning environment that supports credibility and equal opportunity for all participants.

Integrity Violations

Any action that undermines academic or professional integrity is considered a violation of this policy. Such violations include, but are not limited to, cheating or assisting others in cheating during training activities or assessments.

Impersonating another individual in any training-related or examination activity is strictly prohibited.

Falsifying data, signatures, or information in reports, records, or official forms is also considered a serious breach of integrity.

Procedures in Case of a Violation

If a trainee is found to have committed any of the violations outlined above, Skills Gate will apply the appropriate procedures in accordance with its internal regulations.

This includes preparing an official report documenting the details of the incident along with any available evidence, if applicable.

The case will then be referred to the competent committee to determine the appropriate action based on the platform’s internal policies.

Disciplinary actions may vary depending on the nature of the violation and the trainee’s conduct. Such actions may include failing the course or program, suspension from access to all training materials for the academic term, or any other measure deemed appropriate by the authorized body.

Skills Gate ensures full confidentiality throughout all stages of handling the case.

The trainee will be formally notified of the disciplinary decision prior to its official implementation.
